The iconic Reagan family home from BLUE BLOODS is one of television’s most recognizable houses, and many fans want to know if the house real, and if visitors actually see it.

The answer is yes, well…sort of.

The BLUE BLOODS home is a real house found at the address 8070 Harbor View Terrace in Brooklyn, New York City. Fans are allowed to go in front of the house and take photos, but there is a catch. Because the house is private property, fans cannot cross property lines.

The house has been owned since 1978 by Diocese of Saint Maron-USA, and it is believed that one of their bishops currently lives in the residence.

The iconic BLUE BLOODS house — which is an old school brick Colonial building built in the 1920s that Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and his father, Henry (Len Cariou), live in — is accessible via the 86th Street stop on the R train by taking 4th Avenue toward 82nd Street and making a left,” TVLine reported. “The home is located about half a mile from the bayside Shore Road Promenade, easily reached by heading northeast on Harbor View Terrace.”

But, “Because the house is an active residence, there’s no seeing inside the property,” the outlet said.

Despite those restrictions, the house remains a popular destination for devoted BLUE BLOODS fans. Bay Ridge itself has become associated with the series, and the neighborhood exhibits that family feel that distinguishes BLUE BLOODS from many other police dramas.

One thing to note is the inside scenes, such as those at the famous family dinner table, were not actually filmed at the house. Those scenes were filmed within the studio behind a replica door that looked like that of the real house.

But you can still see the beloved family dinner table. It’s located at Donnie Wahlberg’s Wahlburgers location in St. Charles, Illinois.

BLUE BLOODS was canceled after 14 seasons, but fans still love the show. But the Reagan legacy lives on through these tourist destinations as well as the spinoff show BOSTON BLUE. It’s available to stream on Paramount+.
