Emmerdale‘s Kerry Pollard continues to play with fire next week amid Caleb Miligan’s counterfeiting plot. Viewers know she was reluctant to follow her boss’ orders, but will she ultimately find herself behind bars?

Kerry is no stranger to a sneaky scheme, having most recently scammed Caleb with the help of Archie Breckle. But after finding out he was taken for a fool, Caleb soon launched his own plan to get back on top.

Caleb began selling counterfeit goods out of the warehouse, using his employees Billy Fletcher and Kerry to help. Next week, the trio continue to push the boundaries of their risky plan, but will it come back to bite them?

Speaking about the legal consequences of her character’s actions, Laura Norton said Kerry “hasn’t thought it through that far”.

However, the actor claimed that Kerry would cope well in prison, adding that she’d “probably find some way to make money in there, as well”.

“Yeah, she’d be ruling the roost, wouldn’t she? She’d set up some sort of business,” Norton continued. “She obviously doesn’t want to go to prison, but I think, in her head, she’s like, ‘it’s not going to end in prison,   we’ll be fine!”

While Kerry clearly isn’t thinking about the ramifications, Norton discussed what her character could pivot into if she loses her job at the depot.

“God, I feel like she could do anything. She’s done so much like, you know, she was running the salon with Bernice, and then she was working there with Mandy. So, she thinks she’s qualified to do all of that. She’d be behind the bars. She’s worked in the shop, working in the factory, now I’m at the depot.”
